If you want the big tick in life then “just think it”

Often we have the principal in life of doing things and don’t often think about them first. In the workplace we do things, react on situations and then get chance afterwards to sit and think about what we did. Then we could start regretting that we said something or reacted on something and whatever action we took.

Lend a helping hand whenever you can because it’s the same one that feeds you

I don’t know about most of you, but in the process of having to eat, we need to use our hands. Whether it is to prepare it, process it or just digest the food we need to use our hands or maybe one hand. Using the same hand to help someone is then a blessing, not so? The principal of giving and receiving comes into play in life all the time. We use our hands to work and generate an income to buy food to eat. But I want to look at things a little different.
Use your gifts and help somebody daily, in some way - be it big or small, and see how it feeds your soul. I have seen people virtually live for days on soul food, and I am not promoting adverts, brother. It is amazing how good you feel when you have lent a helping hand and how rewarding it can be too. There are still people in the world that appreciate things, so go and share something today. In some religious communities they appreciate things that you do and will ensure that you do not leave them without food.
That is why I have learnt that the same hand can be different things to different people. Use it to reach out and receive the soul food.

I do agree with you, Barry. I don't have much to offer, but most of the time I find myself in a situation where I'm helping the person next to me, without expecting anything back. And somehow along the line, something will come my way, and that is the times that I really do need it most.
